MAWP will hold it's 1st Annual Membership Drive at the Osseo/Maplegrove Legion on Saturday, January 31, 2015. The event will begin at 6pm and go until closing time. The Legion is located at 260 4th Ave SE, Osseo, MN.

IAWP EARLY BOARD MEETING REPORTS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED
The IAWP Board of Directors, Committee Chairs, and Affiliates have completed their board reports for the Early Board Meeting. The Early Board Meeting is scheduled for February 25, 2015 to February 28, 2015 in Denver, CO at the University of the Rockies. The first two days of the meeting will focus on strategic planning for the organization and include training for board members. The final two days of the meeting will be the standard board meeting.
The board reports have all been posted on the IAWP website. To access the reports click on "Member Login." If you need assistance logging in please contact Carol Paterick at: carolpaterick@gmail.com. Once you have logged in click on "Members Only" and then choose "**IAWP Meeting Reports**."

IOWA ASSOCIATION OF WOMEN POLICE ANNOUNCE ANNUAL SPRING TRAINING CONFERENCE
The IaAWP, in conjunction with several local police agencies, will host a Spring Training Conference March 30th and March 31st, 2015 at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites in Davenport, IA. IAWP ELECTION IN NEED OF CANDIDATES
The IAWP election season is upon us. If you are interested in running for a position on the IAWP Board of Directors you must submit a letter of intent by January 24, 2015. IAWP Policy 9 details the requirements for nominations and elections to the IAWP Board of Directors. Policy 9 can be accessed via the IAWP homepage under "About IAWP".
Letters of Intent should be submitted to the Candace Ackler, the Chair of the Nominations Committee. Her email is: cjackler@surewest.net.
